Privacy notice
What this site collects, why, and what we do with it. Last updated 2026-10-17.
Who we are
Wiki Authority LLC, trading as Wiki Authority Group. Contact: info@wikiauthoritygroup.com.
What we collect
The enquiry form. Your name, email address, the subject you ask about, and anything you write in the message box. The form is sent over HTTPS to Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, which emails it to us. We use it only to reply to you and to prepare the source review you asked for.
Live chat. The chat window in the corner is provided by Tawk.to. It loads a few seconds after the page opens, or when you first scroll or move the pointer. If you type in it, what you write, your name if you give it, and your IP address and browser details go to Tawk.to, which stores the conversation so we can reply. Tawk.to’s own privacy policy covers its handling. If you would rather not use it, email us instead; the chat does not need to be opened for the site to work.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, pages requested, browser type and time of each visit, as every web server does, and keeps them for a limited period for security and error diagnosis.
Advertising measurement. If we are running Google Ads, a Google tag on this site records that a visit came from an ad and whether the form was sent. Google’s use of that data is described in its own privacy policy. We do not show you advertising on this site.
This site has no accounts, no passwords, and no cookies of its own. It stores your light-or-dark theme choice in your browser, which never leaves your device. The chat widget sets its own cookies to keep a conversation together between pages.
Analytics and advertising measurement
When we run Google Ads, this site loads Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads conversion tag. They record which pages you visit, whether a visit came from an ad, and whether you sent the form or booked a call. We use the data to see which pages work. Google’s own privacy policy covers its handling. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is measured until you accept it on the consent banner; you can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Scheduling
The “Book a review call” button opens a scheduling page provided by a third-party scheduling service, which loads only when you press the button. If you book, your name, email address and the time you chose go to that service and to us. Its privacy policy covers its handling.
Payments
Payments are taken on our storefront at payments.wikiauthoritygroup.com, which runs on Shopify. We never see your full card number. Shopify’s privacy policy covers what it collects.
What we share
We do not sell or rent your details. We share them only with the services named above, each of which processes them on our behalf, and when the law requires it.
Wikipedia
If you engage us, your name is published on Wikipedia as our client, because Wikipedia’s rules require it. That is part of the service, not a data-sharing choice we make, and we tell every client before they pay.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Engagement records are kept for as long as we need them to meet our obligations to you and the law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@wikiauthoritygroup.com.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
